What are clouds?
Hello friends, welcome to a new Happy Learning video. Today we are going to climb very, very high to learn about what clouds are and how they are formed. If we look at the sky we can almost always see them, higher or lower, bigger or smaller, with a multitude of ways that allow us to play and imagine that they could be animals or toys.
But what really are clouds?
Clouds are made up of tiny drops of water, snowflakes or small ice crystals.
70% of the earth’s surface is covered in water. As the sun heats up the earth’s surface, it causes large amounts of that water to evaporate. That humid and hot air, also called steam, rises into the atmosphere and little by little it gets cold. Due to this cooling, the vapour condenses into microscopic droplets of water that can have the shape of tiny snowflakes or crystals of ice and those droplets are precisely what make up clouds.
Clouds are very different from one another, either because of their shape, colour, size or altitude.
The cirrus clouds are white, light and thin and seem to be scattered across the sky. They are those that are at a higher altitude, exceed 7,500 meters in height, and are formed by tiny ice crystals.
The cumulus clouds are large clouds that look like they are swollen, they may look like they are made of cotton. They are halfway up and in general they are a sign of good weather although in some occasions they can discharge intense rains.
The strata are very long, horizontal and grey clouds. They are the lowest clouds and if they are very low, very low you know what they are called? Correct they are called fog.
All clouds are very important for life on the planet because they are a fundamental part of the water cycle. They allow the essential fall of rain or snow and regulate the temperature on Earth.
I love watching the sky and seeing the clouds but there is a very, very special one that I like more than the rest. Do you know what it is? Well of course our beloved and nice cloud. Goodbye friends, Ah! and do not forget to subscribe to Happy Learning Tv

What are you waiting for? Hello friends, and welcome to a new Happy learning video.
Today we are going to learn about the wettest animals on the planet...presenting the fish.
In almost all the places where you can find water, be it either salt water or fresh water, you can also find fish. There are fish of all sorts of sizes, colors and shapes, and yet they all have common characteristics which we should know.
Fish are vertebrates, their skeleton is made up of bones or cartilage. They are also cold blooded, their body temperature is not constant, meaning it depends on the water temperature.
This fish appears to be really cold!
All fish have extremities in the form of fins, as you can see in this image, dorsal fins, caudal fin which is the tail, pectoral fin, pelvic fin and anal fin. Another really important fact that one must remember is that almost all fish are covered in scales.
The gills are the fish´s respiratory organ. The respiration process is very interesting; water enters through the mouth and goes to the gills; the gills then get the oxygen and distributes it to the rest of the body through the blood vessels , then the water is expelled through an opening which can be found in the majority of fish behind their head, which is called the gill flap.
Fish reproduce by laying eggs, therefore they are oviparous, and their fertilization can be either external or internal. Some fish are excellent fathers, like this one who protects his babies inside his mouth. It looks as if he is going to eat them but he is actually protecting them. Look at that! it´s amazing isn't it?
Almost all fish are carnivores, eating other fish smaller than themselves and therefore they each have different ways of defending themselves. The most common action to take when feeling threatened is to escape as fast as possible, as in to swim away rapidly. But there are other ways of defending oneself which are much more original. For example, this Clown fish hides itself among these venomous anemones, others imitate or camouflage themselves with their background, by obtaining the color and shape of the plants and rocks around them...Can you see a fish in this image? Wow, well there was indeed a fish and a very hungry one!
Look, this is the largest fish in the world, the Whale shark. Even though it is called a whale shark you must remember it is a shark and not a whale. Whales are not fish, they are aquatic mammals, like theses friendly dolphins. So never forget, whales and dolphins are not fish but mammals.
Now I have a very important fact you must always remember, its extremely important. As you already know fish as well as many other animals, live in water...water is essential for life, and for this reason we must look after it, we must protect it. There are people who dirty nature by throwing rubbish into the rivers and oceans, without thinking about the terrible consequences they are causing. The plastics and substances which contaminate the water, kill a huge amount of animals. Fish, turtles, dolphins, whales, sharks and many more die every day because of contamination. Water is a source of life. We must take care of it and protect it. So now you know, look after nature so that all living creatures can live happily.
Good bye friends, until the next Happy learning video.

What are you waiting for? The dolphin, a very friendly mammal
Hello friends, and welcome to a new Happy Learning video. Today we are going to learn about one of the most friendly and fun mammals, presenting the dolphin.
Dolphins are aquatic mammals which live in most seas around the world.
Dolphins have a dorsal fin on the top part of their body and two lateral fins as well as a flat tail called a fluke, which they use to beat the water in an up and down motion, allowing them to swim at great speeds as well as completing agile jumps out of the water.
Did you know that dolphins don't have a nose? They have a beak and they breathe through a hole above their head. Can you see it? well this hole is called the blow hole and they close it every time they go under water so as not to let water come into their lungs.
Dolphins can submerge themselves up to 300 meters deep and can hold their breath for almost 25 minutes!
Do you know how dolphins sleep? It is really curious...because they sleep...in sections. First half of their brain and half of their body goes to sleep and when that part wakes up, the other half goes to sleep. It is for this reason that they sleep with one eye open, always aware of what is going on around them. Like this they are always alert...
Dolphins belong to the cetaceous family, like whales.
The average length of a dolphin is around 4 and a half meters, which is the length of normal car and they weigh about 300 kilos.
For orientation, dolphins use a system called echolocation. The sounds the dolphins emit travels through water until it rebounds off an object found in its path, and sends it back to the dolphin. Now the dolphins can calculate how far away the object is, its size and also its shape.
Dolphins are carnivorous, their main source of food is based on crustaceans, fish, squid and octopus.
Dolphins just like all mammals are viviparous and the gestation of a baby takes 12 months. During the first month of a baby´s life, it feeds on the mother's milk and then the baby is taught how to hunt by other members of its family.
Dolphins are not scared of humans and when they encounter them, they are very friendly. They are really playful and curious animals.
Dolphins tend to live in a group and are extremely intelligent. As they are together in a group they help each other by defending off sharks and orcas by butting them with their strong beak.
But do you know what the dolphin´s biggest problem is? The humans. It is because of humans hunting them and contaminating the waters which is causing many dolphins to die. Many dolphins have been trapped in fishermen's nets or suffocated with plastic bags and rubbish which has been thrown in the sea, but this is a problem happening not just for dolphins but for many other marine species, such as turtles and seals. It is for this reason that it is just so important to look after our seas and oceans and that we should never, ever, ever, throw anything into the water.
If we maintain nature clean, dolphins as well as all other living creatures will be very happy.
So goodbye for now and don't forget to subscribe to Happy Learning.
